Sponsorship FAQs
Everything you need to know about sponsoring a child through Mission Clubs.
Sponsorship is a meaningful commitment, and we want you to feel confident as you begin. Here are answers to common questions about monthly giving, communication, gifts, updates, and what your sponsorship makes possible.
-
Sponsorship is $40 per month. This consistent monthly support helps Mission Clubs plan for the long-term needs of each student and provide a stable, Christ-centered place for them to grow.
-
Sponsorship is $40 per month and is managed through the Reach portal. Once you choose a child to sponsor, you can set up an automatic monthly gift by credit card or bank account.
-
Your monthly sponsorship helps support your child through the after-school program they attend. It helps provide academic support, Bible teaching, mentorship, nutritious meals, activities, and practical needs like school supplies, uniforms, shoes, and clothing.
It also helps relieve part of the financial burden on the child’s family while ensuring your student has a safe, loving place to grow.
-
Yes. Mission Clubs seeks to build strong sponsor-child relationships, so each sponsored child is connected with one sponsor.
-
Yes. We encourage it. Your words of encouragement can become a treasured reminder that your student is loved and prayed for.
You can send messages through the Reach app, and our team in Panama will help translate and deliver them. Staff members personally share your message with your child so they can receive it with care and understanding.
-
Yes. Sponsors receive annual updates, including photos and reports on how their student is growing in school and in their walk with the Lord.
-
Because international shipping can be difficult, Mission Clubs offers a Special Gift Fund. You can make a one-time donation through our giving form, and our local staff will purchase a gift on your behalf in Panama.
When giving, please include your sponsored child’s name and the purpose of the gift in the comment field so our team knows how to direct it.
This allows your child to receive something meaningful while also supporting the local economy.
-
YYes. Sponsors are invited to join a Mission Clubs mission trip to Panama. This gives you the opportunity to meet the children, serve at the Club, and experience the ministry firsthand.
For many sponsors, this is one of the most meaningful parts of the relationship — moving from a name and photo to a real hug, shared meal, and personal connection.
You can learn more about upcoming opportunities on our Mission Trips page.
